2. To ensure the power of vehicle battery is enough to work at least 10 minutes.
3. open the headlight and the radio (to prevent other modules to enter sleep mode) before programming keys.
4. According to the software prompts to read CAS data, if the original vehicle has keyless, please take it away at least 3 meters from the vehicle.
5. Put the empty key in the VAG/Key adapter, and then select a new key number to program. If original car keys all lost, must use the 'ignition switch program[Preprocessing key]' option to generate a valid dealer key.
6. Add key according to the software prompt, if program keys via ignition switch or
original car keys all lost, must put preprocessing key into ignition switch. For some Car models, it needs to write back the key data to the CAS system only in this way that can start the car. When add a key or make other settings lead to the car not able to start, just run DME with CAS synchronously, If fail to synchronize DME and CAS for several times, please disconnect the battery for more than 5 minutes, then synchronize DME and CAS again.
7. When the steering wheel lock malfunction occurs, you can use the function of synchronizing CAS with the ELV to unlock.
8. If there is a fault, you can use the special function programming a key or after adding a key.
Fault treatment:
If the new key can not ignite because of something mater (CAS can identify the key but could not start the engine), the main reason is the DME module and CAS module can not be synchronized.
The solution is as follows:
1. Use the original car keys to try to start the car, if it can be started normally, please turn to below 4, otherwise do the operation by the sequence of 2, 3, 4, 5.
2. Diagnose the DME module, read DTCs, and clear DTCs. To the DTCs which can not be clear away (generally, it is "EWS manipulation error"). Please disconnect the batterv for more than 5 minutes then connect the battery again. Clear the fault code of DME module to ensure that there is no fault code.
